CBSE CTET 2024 Exam Eligibility Code Details
Primary Stage (Class I to V)
- Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- OR Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE 2002 norms.
- OR Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- OR Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Graduate and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

Secondary Stage (Class VI to VIII)
- Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in a 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), following the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time.
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)

How to Fill CTET Online Form 2024
- CBSE has released the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper I to V & VI to VIII Exam for July 2024.
- Candidates can apply online from March 7, 2023, to April 5, 2024.
- Note: Exam centers are limited in every city this year, and candidates can view live information about available centers while filling out the form.
- Candidates seeking their nearest exam center/city should apply as soon as possible due to limited slots available.
- Before applying, candidates should read the notification carefully.
- Collect and verify all required documents such as eligibility proofs, ID proof, address details, and basic information.
- Prepare the scanned documents related to the recruitment form, including photo, signature, and ID proof.
- Before submission, carefully review all columns and the preview of the application form.
- Ensure the submission of the application fee if required; incomplete forms will not be accepted.
- Finally, take a printout of the final submitted form for future reference.
